Computational Hypersonics and Nonequilibrium Laboratory
Overview
The Computational Hypersonics and Nonequilibrium Laboratory (CHANL) is directed by Prof. Kyle Hanquist. CHANL is active in the development and application of physical models and computational methods for simulation of complex phenomena such as nonequilibrium and reactive flows experienced during hypersonic flight. We are looking forward to working with students, undergraduate or graduate, and researchers (postdocs, visitors) who are excited to work on multidisciplinary problems from both physics and engineering perspectives. Availability changes frequently according to project needs and funding; however, we are always ready to meet outstanding candidates from all fields and areas of expertise. See our Contact page for more information.
